An important part of trying to maintain the upkeep of a positive mindset is the coping with failure. Trying something and failing at it is as valuable to your character (if not more valuable in many respects) than if you were to just simply accomplish something the first time. Understanding failure is not the end is something so critical to the development of your character, personality, and work ethic that it can be absolutely devastating if that is not understood.

Not letting yourself interpret failure as an inherently negative experience is very important to being a more positive person– it’s only up from here.
