General First-Aid (Dylan Walter)

First Aid is the immediate medical care for an injured or sick person until professional help arrives or until the person is no longer sick or injured.

It would take years of training to get to the level to save people from more severe injuries and illnesses but by knowing some of the basics you might save someone’s life one day.

Here are the steps for when you see someone that needs immediate and lifesaving help

Step 1: Assess for danger and think before you act, there may still be some danger in the area that you need to look for. Ex- Livewire, animals (poisonous, or dangerous), or a person with malicious intent.

Step 2: Once you know the area is safe to enter, quickly asses the condition of the individual and call emergency services.

For less severe situations my blogs will help you know what to do for some comen injuries.
